Today was Hari Raya Puasa, by right we suppose to have Malay food but instead we opt for Thai food at one of Pornsak restaurant situated at Mount Faber. OH, by the way, do you know who is Pornsak? Well, he’s a Thai-Chinese who came to Singapore when he was young and now he’s a TV host at Mediacorp. You will get to see him on Channel 8 program. Well, now back to our food topic…heheee…

Home's Favourite Mooncake

The feeling was like I’m eating GOLD as I can feel the gold coating powder on my hand and mouth.. *laughing* The taste of the durian favor was very strong and I loved it to the max..

A hidden place which I come across by chance. Environment was quite cozy for a afternoon rest & relax day but ventilation is not so good as their cooking area is a open concept thus if you dine during peak hour, you will smell of foodies at end of the day. Din Tai Fung is renowned for its xiao long bao (steamed pork dumplings) and since my hubby got curving for it. We decided to head for it at Raffles City Shopping mall. As usual, there’s massive queue for it and we waited for around 25 minutes before we were given a seat.

Pepes Authentic Indonesia Restaurant

Saw from website that SuperDeals is having promotion for Pepes Indonesia restaurant. For the price of $15, we get $30 worth of authentic Indonesia cuisine thus I decided to get 2 vouchers as I will be bringing my parents for the dinner. Expected to have huge crowd t4 I make a reservation in advance.

nasi kuning rice

tahu telur.. ask for more gravy, u will sure loved it

sop madura - javanese chicken soup... so-so nothing fantastic

rendang sapi.. tender meat & great gravy

ayam goreng kelasan... crispy skin & delicious meat

gado gado - traditional indonesia salad top w spiced peanut sauce..
not everyone will appreciate it as dish is serve cold

for myself in which my colleague highly recommended

With all the dishes that I’ve order, 2 voucher is definitely not enough for a table of 4 pax.. heheee… Oh by the way, their curry gravy is very delicious too. Next time, I will order their curry chicken…
