I admit I’ve soft spot when comes to pastries, cakes, dessert etc coz they are soooo… nice & tasty that I can’t resist their temptation… :P Since today is a public holiday, my friends & I decided to head to Goodwood Park for some dessert…

Durian Crepes... thick filling but 肉是苦的

We had a fulfilling dessert day that our stomach can no longer contains our next meal… :P

Pepes Authentic Indonesia Restaurant

Saw from website that SuperDeals is having promotion for Pepes Indonesia restaurant. For the price of $15, we get $30 worth of authentic Indonesia cuisine thus I decided to get 2 vouchers as I will be bringing my parents for the dinner. Expected to have huge crowd t4 I make a reservation in advance.

nasi kuning rice

tahu telur.. ask for more gravy, u will sure loved it

sop madura - javanese chicken soup... so-so nothing fantastic

rendang sapi.. tender meat & great gravy

ayam goreng kelasan... crispy skin & delicious meat

gado gado - traditional indonesia salad top w spiced peanut sauce..
not everyone will appreciate it as dish is serve cold

iced lemon tea for my hubby

cendol shared by my parents

Es Avocado - silky avocado smoothies w mocha sauce..
for myself in which my colleague highly recommended

With all the dishes that I’ve order, 2 voucher is definitely not enough for a table of 4 pax.. heheee… Oh by the way, their curry gravy is very delicious too. Next time, I will order their curry chicken…

Jang Shou Korean Charcoal BBQ

Saw this restaurant recommendation from 8 Days Guide book, highly recommend for their marinated beef… yummy… my favorite… So I gather 3 of my friends for dinner at this outlet at Esplanade, this outlet serve ala carte while the other outlet at Katong Village is serving buffet style.

ulalala.... the taste of the beef is so wonderful.. can go for 2nd, 3rd round... *drooling*

Chicken... the taste is good but i still prefer beef... :P

kimchi soup

The taste of the beef was so wonderful that makes me decided to go to their Katong outlet for their buffet. Hopefully they do serve the same marinated beef… Looking forward to it.

Had by pass this restaurant a couple of times & always saw this place pack with peoples. Wondering what so nice about the food till one day I decided to give it a try with my hubby… They serve set meal for 2 pax, ala carte dishes & best of all they are Halal certified. So we decided to go for their set meal for 2 pax.

Boss ask us to suggest a place for our company ‘lo hei’ thus we suggest Zhou’s Kitchen as is not far from our office and is convenient for us to go home from there :P

House of Seafood @ 180

Have been planning for a ‘lo hei’ with bowling kaki for quite some time, finally we settle our date, time n place… Due to overwhelming of this place, we need to make early reservation & there’s only set meal provided. No ala cart dishes are allowed during CNY.

After feasting at this outlet, we were quite disappointed with their food standard as it has dropped compare to last year 2010. Guess is the overwhelming festival season which makes them can’t cope with the traffic.

Putien @ Nex

It was 3rd day of CNY, Lynn & Louie arranged for a meet up for 'lo hei' dinner at Putien. No reservation is allowed for small group during CNY thus we had to Q for it. Luckily we did not have to wait long for it...

clockwise: braised salted duck, 魚生, spinach w century eggs & half deep fried chicken 

clockwise: bamboo herbal prawn, putien lor mee, pomfret fry redwine & hingwa beehoon

A good dinning experience for us and for sure we will patron back.. :)
